Is your phone eSIM-compatible?
Your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Availability may depend on the country and exact device model.
What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM profile installed on a compatible device. It can provide mobile data without replacing your physical SIM card.
Is my phone compatible?
Compatibility depends on the manufacturer, exact model variant, country or region, carrier, and device software. Check the device list and confirm that an Add eSIM option or EID appears in your phone settings.

Install while you have a reliable internet connection, but first check the plan's activation policy. If validity starts on installation, wait until the appropriate time before your trip.

It depends on the selected plan. The plan details may state that validity begins on installation, immediately after purchase, or on the first supported network connection. Always follow the policy shown for that plan.
Can I keep my existing SIM?
Many compatible devices support a physical SIM and an eSIM together. Check your exact model’s dual-SIM capabilities, select the travel eSIM for mobile data, and manage your primary line’s roaming settings separately.

Unlimited/FUP plans include a daily high-speed allowance. Data continues at a reduced speed after that allowance when confirmed by the provider. Check the plan details for the allowance, reduced speed and reset information; unlimited does not mean unlimited high-speed data.
Should Data Roaming be enabled?
Many travel eSIMs require Data Roaming on the travel eSIM line. Enable it only when the plan instructions require it, and keep your primary SIM's data roaming off if you want to avoid home-carrier roaming charges.
